My journey

Veneer placement

From preparation to the final bonding, including temporary veneers: the right habits at every step, day after day.

  1. D-7

    Prepare

    • Confirm the shape and shade with your practitioner at the try-in: nothing is bonded before you agree.
    • Mention any sensitivity or grinding habit.
  2. D-day

    The bonding

    • Brush carefully before you come; allow one and a half to two hours.
    • Avoid eating for two hours after bonding.
  3. D+1

    The first days

    • Avoid biting hard food with the front teeth (apples, bread crusts).
    • Gentle brushing and flossing: veneers are cleaned like your own teeth.
    • Discomfort when closing, or one spot touching first: call us for an adjustment.
  4. D+14

    Check-up

    • Check-up appointment: bite adjustment and bonding check.
    • A night guard may be advised if you clench.
